Bellevue, Washington

In my first year of law school, someone very close to me went through a painful divorce. As I was learning the law and the policies behind it, I was also seeing the personal effect those laws have on a person’s life and loved ones. Now as a family law attorney, I approach my clients with compassion and kindness.  I take the time to explain the legal process and the law, including how it will influence their life. In each matter, I strive to build the strongest position the law permits while remaining open and honest with my clients about the strengths and weaknesses of their case, always remembering that the case is in fact their life.

I joined Law & Mediation Services of Natalie de Maar in 2015 as an Associate. Before entering family law, I gained experience in Contract Law, Civil Rights, Policy Advocacy and Labor Law.

I was admitted to the Washington State Bar in 2015. Prior to law school, I was a legal professional for 12 years, working in various practice areas including personal injury, criminal defense and construction contracts & lien law. I entered law school in 2012 and earned my Juris Doctor in June of 2015 from Seattle University School of Law. I was invited to spend my final year of law school at U.C. Berkeley School of Law as a visiting student before returning to Washington to join the Law & Mediation Services of Natalie de Maar.
